We offer workshops from visiting artists in a variety of art mediums. If you have a workshop you would like to bring to the community, consider renting our studio to host your next event!
OPEN STUDIO
Tuesdays, 6pm-8pm
Find community during our open studio sessions. Meet other artists to chat, create together in a shared space, or explore different art mediums. You'll have access to our studio and communal art supplies. Feel free to bring something you're working on or create something new. All skill levels and mediums welcome!
This is an unstructured event without an instructor.
$15 studio fee includes full use of the studio and materials.

COLOR THEORY WATERCOLORS
Saturday, June 10th, 10am-12pm
This class is focused on exploring color theory through watercolors. Learn the color wheel and principles of color theory, develop a few dynamic color palettes, experiment with mixing watercolor, and learn how to use color theory in floral paintings.
Students will learn basic concepts of what color is, how it can be used and how we see it in our everyday lives and especially in art. This class approaches color in an intuitive and hands-on way. We will mix color and paint a floral bouquet / botanical watercolor using personalized color palettes.
Students will leave class with color theory charts and diagrams and a botanical watercolor art piece. All materials will be provided. All skill levels are welcome!
Light snacks and drinks will be provided.

CRAFTING WITH PRESSED FLOWERS
Saturday, June 10th, 2pm-3:30pm
Come spend an afternoon crafting with preserved plants! Bri of Little Leaf Ink will be sharing pressed plant material from her personal collection and be sharing her tips and techniques for crafting with pressed flowers. Make a card to send a loved one, a new piece of wall art for your home, a fun bookmark or whatever else you can think of. Have something that you want to add some pressed plants to? Bring it! Will have a variety of materials of work with and expert help on how to make your creations last.

STAINED GLASS SUNCATCHERS
Saturday, June 17th, 2pm-5pm
Transform light into beauty during this 3 hour stained glass workshop where you’ll create a beautiful ‘Sunrise’ hanging suncatcher using the copper foil technique. No experience necessary! Artist, Lesleigh Arratia will guide you through the entire process from selecting the perfect colors to cutting with ease and mastering your soldering skills.
By the end of class, you’ll have a framed and ready-to-hang suncatcher to take home and display in your window. Your new creation will fill any space with dazzling colors of light while reminding you of the inner creativity you discovered during this unforgettable workshop.
Closed toe shoes are required for this event.
